Strange people

From my Point of View

On the technical side Australia is almost a non-developed country. ISDN is still the big thing in internet connections while ADSL adoption is still in its early stages, and on the trainstations there is still a person standing at the door collecting tickets. This applies to several areas of Australian life, but in some other areas they are far ahead of most contries, for example in localization services. Your current suburb is continiously displayed on your cellphone based on data from the radiotowers, and when ordering a taxi from a landline you don't have to talk to anyone or press anything. Dial the number and they send a taxi directly to your house based on your landline phone-number.
Strange people these australians.
