Beachfun and relaxation

Brisbane Daily Life

Monica, Simen and Thomas buried in the sand
Last night was spent relaxing after Thursday-night by going to another festival-film, namely a spanish one called Intacto. This was mostly due to us having planned a trip to a beach at the Sunshine Coast early today. As planned, we got up early and boarded a northbound train along with Simen and Monica.

It is a 2 hour journey to the Sunshine Coast, but halfway one must switch to bus. Except saturdays apparantly, but noone had told us that so we left the train and waited at the busstop. No bus arrived, and the connecting train left without us, which left us with one option: Taxi! Luckily taxis are quite cheap, but as we still had a fair distance to cover we decided to go to a closer beach instead.
This actually turned out as a stroke of luck as we found a nice little town where the beaches were beatiful while beeing almost devoid of people. And as the water was warm (18C) and there wasn't a cloud in sight we had heaps of fun today!Monica, Svein-Magnus, Thomas and Simen at the taxi-rank There were plenty of space for us to play sand-volleyball and throw frisbees on, as well as do lots of other crazy stuff. Most of it was caught on tape, and will be made into a short movie soon!

Excluding a couple of sunburns which were to be expected, this day have been absolutely great! And now we are going to Kristins place for some birthdayparty-action! Life is goood! WooHoo :)
