Brisbane Daily Life

I didn't really get to do as much work on my assignments as planned last week, and ended up going out both thursday and friday, but after a bit of effort both yesterday and on saturday I'm more or less where I need to be with my work, which is good as I'm leaving for New Zealand in just a couple of hours!

Last Thursday I went to DUB with Tommy, Erik, Ken and Alex for some crazy partying. DUB as always, were packed with people! The friday party were as earlier mentioned the P-party by NorSK, this means you have to dress up like something starting with P. There were tons of people at the Port Office that night with heaps of cool costumes. Lots of pirates, princesses, pussycats, playboy- and easterbunnies (easter starts with P in norwegian) of course, but there were lots of others as well. A couple of Presidents, mr. Presley, Police, Post-its, Punkers and Passports :-)

And on sunday I finally got myself some waffles!!
Carina, the girl I'm going to New Zealand with, is having a birthday this week, so she invited a couple of friends over for waffles and chocolate-cake *yum* Gotta love that. An excellent end to the week :-D
Our Virgin Blue flight for Christchurch is scheduled to depart in about three hours, so I'm just getting the last stuff packed and having some lunch now. This is gonna be *SO* cool! I'm really excited about this trip. Hopefully we'll get to see some of the 'Lord of the Rings' filming locations, and maybe do some diving, jet-boating and snowboarding!

Have a good easter everyone!

Hi there,

I just visited you site and read your article about sailing around the Whitsundays. I'm sure you had the best time! In you article I noticed you had a link to the Great Barrier Reef and the Whitsundays at

We run a Whitsundays web portal at and I thought you might be interested in putting up a link to our website — it's a comprehensive tourism and community information guide to the spectacular Whitsunday region. Worth a look, if I do say so myself.

We'd be more than happy to give you a link in return.

Let me know if you're interested..
